Dr. Sugumar Natarajan is a Board Certified, fellowship trained Orthopaedic and Joint replacement Surgeon. He completed his MBBS degree with a distinction in 2017 and his MS Orthopaedics degree as batch topper in 2021. He pursued his Joint replacement (Arthroplasty) fellowship under Tamilnadu MGR medical university in 2022 and won the prestigious Prof Suryanarayan Gold medal for Arthroplasty in 2023 Orthopaedic TN state conference. He has published more than 10 research papers in Orthopaedics and Joint replacement. During Post-graduation he did an extensive research work on Minimally invasive surgeries. And his latest work on ‘CPAK typing of South Indian Osteoarthritic knee patients’ is published in world renowned Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. He has also won other awards such as Best paper award in Madras Orthopaedic society meeting. He believes that every patient deserves a personalized approach. This philosophy is centered around the idea that no two patients are the same, and therefore, their treatment shouldn’t be either. He often emphasizes the importance of a thorough clinical diagnosis, with an understanding that getting the right diagnosis is halfway to the solution. Dr. Sugumar Natarajan also believes that surgery isn’t always the answer. For many patients, Non-surgical treatments can be highly effective.
